The teacher being nominated must be employed by a school in Miami-Dade or Broward County. The teacher being nominated and the related school are collectively "the entrant." Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on April 13, 2026, and ends at 1:59 p.m. ET on May 8, 2026. You can submit a nomination by completing the online entry form at www.edfed.org/sweepstakes before 1:59 pm on May 8, 2026. All requested information on the entry form must be completed to be valid. Entries are limited to one (1) per nominator, per day. One entry form will be drawn as the winner. The winning nominated teacher will receive a $2,000 Visa eGift card; and the winning nominated teacher's school will receive a Teacher Appreciation Celebration for school faculty and staff valued up to $2,500. The individual submitting the entry form (nominator) will not be awarded an individual prize. Total of prizes valued up to $4,500 (USD) will be awarded to the winning entrant.
